Boost your Energy and Health with the Power of Fresh Juices

Juicing is no longer a lengthy cleanse used by extreme dieters or health nuts. Largely due to the internet and recent documentaries, juicing has become a hot topic when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle.

We believe that making small, healthy choices can be powerful. Sipping down a giant green juice may seem hard to swallow at first but it is a great start to a healthier you.

We love the benefits we receive from adding fresh juices to our daily diets. Replacing that burger with a veggie juice will most likely help you maintain a healthy weight, but there are many more nutritional benefits. Fresh vegetable and fruit juices are an easy way for you to get essential enzymes, minerals and vitamins that you may not normally get in your current, everyday diet. Raw juices with dark leafy greens are packed with antioxidants that can help detoxify, revitalize and restore.

The best part of juicing is you can customize your juices to your own flavor preferences. First-timers, you can add extra fruit for more sweetness. As you get more advanced, you'll be devouring juice packed with vegetables like spinach, kale, celery and cucumber.

Let’s get juicing! Here are a few recipes to get you started:

  • Beginner’s Blend: Start with a large handful of baby spinach, add a whole sliced apple and 2 peeled medium oranges.
  • Intermediate Mix: Juice a large handful of baby spinach, half a cucumber, 3 stalks of celery, half a sliced apple, and half a lemon. (Don’t forget to remove the lemon rind before juicing).
  • Expert’s Energy Drink: Mix a large handful of baby spinach, 4 stalks of a leafy green (such as kale or chard), 2 sliced small beets, a whole cucumber, and a one inch slice of fresh ginger.
