Sweet and Spicy Roasted Pecans

Ingredients

2 cups Simple Truth Raw Pecan Pieces
1 teaspoon Simple Truth Organic Ground Saigon Cinnamon
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon Simple Truth Organic Cayenne Pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons Simple Truth Organic Brown Sugar, packed

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spread pecans on baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 10 minutes, shaking pan occasionally, until nuts are fragrant and light golden brown.
  3. While nuts are roasting, combine cinnamon, chili powder, cayenne, ginger and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Remove nuts from oven and place in a bowl. Toss with melted butter, brown sugar and spice mix while nuts are still hot, combining evenly. Let cool and serve, or store for later.
