Chicken Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons

Ingredients

4 slices Simple Truth Organic Country Italian Batard 
2 tablespoons Simple Truth Organic Unfiltered Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan
3 cups Simple Truth Grilled Chicken Strips
1 head of Simple Truth Organic Baby Romaine, washed and torn 
1/2 cup Caesar dressing

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Cut the bread into cubes and place on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, Italian seasoning and garlic salt. Bake for 5-10 minutes, tossing once, until cooked and crisp. Remove to a plate.
  3. You are now going to make Parmesan crisps. Divide the Parmesan and place four mounds on the baking sheet and flatten with a spoon. Bake for a few minutes (watching constantly) until flattened and golden. Remove from the oven and using a spatula, move to the plate with the croutons.
  4. Remove the STO prepared chicken strips from the bag and place on the baking sheet and bake slightly, to warm.
  5. Place the romaine in a medium bowl and toss with dressing to coat. Place on individual plates and top with chicken, croutons and a Parmesan crisp. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan, if desired
