I'm learning about Palm Oil. It's obtained by drastic deforestation methods in Indonesia and Malaysia, which severely and negatively affects orangutans and forest elephants (they are disappearing as land is cleared for palm oil). This product contains "organic palm oil" but... is it sustainable?

Hi, Susanna. Thanks for reaching out to us about this. Our palm oil supplier has been a member of RSPO since 2007. The supplier focuses on planting palm trees in areas that had already been cultivated or previously logged. They are spending considerable time working locally with such groups as WWF Indonesia, the London Zoological Society and Fauna International, which monitors wildlife habitats and the contribution towards long term sustainability of global wildlife. Each plantation and refinery is certified ISO 14000 and maintain industry best practices as regulated by both the Indonesian and Malaysian governments.

sorry but this peanut but is NOT no stir. I opened it up and the whole top was nothing but oil and it splashed all over the front of my clothes! And then I had to pour some off and still I had to stir. Not happy

At what temperature is your palm oil processed for use in your no stir, crunchy peanut butter?
