Sift flour with salt. Make well in center of flour.
Add beaten egg and water. Mix with a fork into a ball.
Roll out as thinly as possible on a floured surface. Let dry.
Roll sheet up tightly and slice thinly with a knife.
Separate strands of noodles. Combine with your favorite soup and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until tender.
Freeze uncooked noodles for up to 1 year.
