Slimmed-Down Summer Treats

As the summer sun blazes, many of us start seeking frozen treats to quench the heat. These cravings can present a challenge to those following a healthy lifestyle, as many summertime desserts are high in sugar, saturated fat, and calories. What could be better than finding delicious refreshment in a yogurt-based treat? Our Simple Truth Frozen Yogurt Bars provide a cool, creamy delight without the consequence. Perfect for kids and adults alike, and available in sweet vanilla, strawberry, and blueberry, you’d be smart to keep a box or two available all summer long. So, clear some space in the freezer and learn about why you should make this smart swap:

  • With only 3.5 grams of total fat per serving, these bars come in well below many traditional ice cream varieties, which can have upwards of 20 grams of fat per serving. This fat reduction also represents a potential savings of over 100 calories per bar.
  • For those seeking to eliminate gluten from their diet, Simple Truth Yogurt Bars are a perfect choice. No gluten-containing ingredients here!
  • With only 16 grams of sugar each, these bars contain a fraction of the sugar found in many traditional ice cream varieties. Also, as with all of our Simple Truth products, you won’t find any high fructose corn syrup, sucralose, aspartame, neotame, or artificial flavors. This is a treat with ingredients you can trust.
  • Who ever thought that a summertime dessert could provide protein? Simple Truth Frozen Yogurt Bars are a good source of protein, boasting 5 grams per bar. Protein, in combination with less added sugar, helps avoid large blood sugar spikes and contributes to sustained fullness.

Will you adopt a slimmed-down summer staple with Simple Truth Frozen Yogurt Bars?
